> Our [**Viam 101 course**](https://www.viam.com/viam-101) is the fastest way to learn to build a robot, with no hardware and no prior robotics experience required. You’ll build a palletizing application from scratch: a robot arm that picks boxes from a station and stacks them on a pallet.

Viam enables you to build and manage real robotics applications, but you don't need any hardware to start learning it.

Each pathway below teaches practical Viam skills through a hands-on project. Choose whichever matches your learning goals.
